How is Australian Football played?
Played on an oval field (approx. 135–185 m long). Players kick, handball, or run with the ball (max. 15 m without bouncing it). A goal (between the two inner posts) = 6 points, a behind (outer post) = 1 point.
What are the rules of Australian Football?
The ball may only be handballed with a punching motion (no throwing), kick passes are allowed
Players must bounce or touch the ball to the ground every 15 m while running
Mark: catching a kicked ball from 15+ m away earns the player a free kick
Tackling only between hip and shoulder height; no high tackles
No deliberate out-of-bounds: intentionally kicking the ball out = a free kick for the opponent
