How is Badminton played?

Played in best-of-3 sets to 21 points (rally point). The court is 13.4 m long and 6.1 m wide (doubles), slightly narrower for singles. The shuttlecock must land in the opponent's court.

What are the rules of Badminton?

• The serve must be hit diagonally, below the hip, and with an upward trajectory
• The shuttlecock may not touch the ground – otherwise the opponent scores a point
• Touching the net with racquet or body = loss of point
• A service fault = loss of point
• At 20-20 (deuce): a 2-point lead is required, capped at 30-29
