Played on a 2.74 m long table over a 15.25 cm high net. Points are scored under the rally-point system; a set goes to 11 points (at least a 2-point lead). Official matches are best of 4 or 7 sets.

What are the rules of Table Tennis?

• Serve: the ball must be tossed behind the table edge and still be above the table when struck
• The ball must bounce once on each side (singles) or diagonally (doubles)
• The free hand may not touch the playing surface
• The serve changes every 2 points
• Expedite rule: after 10 minutes of play, the serve must change after every point
